Nx Witness works with nearly all major IP camera brands and supports over 20,000 IP devices, so in many cases you keep the cameras you already have.
Often, yes. In many cases you keep your cameras and only replace the head-end: the server and software. Nx Witness runs on standard IT hardware, so replacement parts are easy to source. Our team can look at your current system and plan the move.
Often not. In many cases only the head-end (the server and software) needs replacing. Nx Witness runs on standard off-the-shelf IT hardware or on a virtual machine.
Every alert is reviewed by a person before anything is escalated, then handled using the contacts, call order and procedures your service sets. Access is role-based, with multi-factor authentication, and limited to the people your service authorises.
No. Nx Witness records and stores video on your own servers or virtual machines. Nx Cloud is optional and adds remote access. Nx Witness can also run without an internet connection.
Video is recorded and stored on your own servers or virtual machines, so it stays where you keep it. If you have data residency requirements, talk to our team about the options for remote access and how data is transported.
Two or more Nx servers can be linked into a Server Hive, with automatic failover, so recording carries on if one goes down.
Gen 6 is the current release, and Nx Cloud support for v5 ends on 1 January 2027. Upgrading keeps your Nx Cloud access supported and puts you in a good position to expand. Our team can check your licences and help plan the move.
Network Optix, the company behind Nx Witness, is ISO 27001:2022 certified and SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, and Nx Witness is NDAA compliant.
No. Nx Witness works on its own. Shogun and Ronin are optional: they help you get more from the cameras you already have, with video analytics and system health monitoring.
Yes. The Nx SDKs and REST API are free to use, so your team or integrator can build the integrations you need.
Yes. Art of Logic works with integrators and MSPs, so we can support your project through, or alongside, the partners you already use.
