People Occupancy is a Shogun feature that monitors how many people are present within a defined area at any given time, giving operators real-time visibility into space usage and capacity. Unlike line-crossing counts, People Occupancy tracks live headcount inside a zone continuously, updating as people enter and exit. Operators can set capacity thresholds and receive alerts when a space reaches critical levels, enabling faster responses to congestion or safety risks. Data is recorded over time, making it easy to identify peak usage windows, underutilised areas, and recurring patterns — supporting smarter staffing, space planning, and resource allocation.
